Tactical escape

Realised the surf is too powerful for me (a hurrican in Mexico has brought in a huge swell) so made my escape from Grump with two canadians who thankfully reaffirmed my views on Grump as being strange and very moody. Grump jumped out the bus without saying goodbye...I think she was not happy that she was going to have to go back feeling victimised again cause she was paying the same as a couple would...strange woman!

Suchitoto is a nice colonial town which the lonely planet says is like what Antigua (in Guatamala and where I am going next) was before the tourists came, so I thought it would be nice to come see it. Had a good walk round and met a nice swiss german bloke at dinner who had come travelling by himself for a couple of months but who had previously been married to a colombian woman. Nice guy and had a good chat and he found the eating raw bacon thing wierd too!

The town was also celebrating its bank holiday (the day of the dead). They had a big wheel which looked more scary and dangerous than anything we have back home..is a little wierd cause back home the big wheel is a safe option...politely turned down the swiss guy when he asked if I fancied going on it with him...he is clearly braver than me!
