3 Cities for the Price of One

This afternoon we took a PKP train from Warszawa Centralna to Gdansk Glowny. Arrived in the evening and staying with Mariusz & Agniecka in the Old Town. Unfortunately there isn't much left of interest in the Old Town except for the Big Mill and St. Margarets Church. However the Main Town has been rebuilt after the war and looks great. There is a Medieval Crane on a Canal, a fountain honouring Neptune and a grand long thoroughfare called Dlugi Targ (Long Street).

ul. Mariacka is a interesting street with houses from the 16th Century with steps leading up to the houses from the street. However it is better at night because in the day it is full of Amber & Silver shops and assorted tourist tat.
