Going home

Text written in: English

Absolutely devasted, just seen that my entry from the jungle has been wiped off.. a good hour of wriitng all gone!! And about 2 hours of downloading photo's!Poooooooooooo

Anyway, life goes on. I am currently in Sao Paulo airport, waiting for my flight home, a day early which is great, cause i means I don't have to hang around in some hotel room like a real Nigel and then lurk in the airport for 10 hours tmw.

So, mixed feelings about going home. I feel like I have done everything I came to do.. but realise that it is over and it has been such a incredible three months! Full of ups and downs, full of breath taking moments, full of life and full of beauty. So it is going to be a real shock getting back to the real world. However I am excited about the following

1. Not having to carry around a toilet roll in my bag for everytime I need the loo

2. Not having to pay everytime I need to go to the loo (which is rather often)

3. Finding a toilet seat in the loo and the absence of some-one's left over diarreha!!!

4. Not having to eat boiled meat and rice... ever..

5. The absence of the constant smell of urine in the cities

6. Sleeping in my own bed

7. Being able to speak the language PROPERLY!

8. Not having to wear the same clothes for 3 and a half months.. gets a bit monotonous

9. Being able to drink the water

10.... and the salads.... and not having to peel the fruit

But I will miss it all. I will miss the freedom I will miss the friends, I will miss the beautiful landscapes and I sure as hell will miss my backpack
