Arrive in Manila

Text written in: English

I arrived Manila around 4:00 pm. After I went to the hostel I stayed and set up my luggage, I start to discover the places near me. Traffic here is terrible but better than Vietnam. Mostly, they drive a bus that is made by WWII jeep. They decorate the jeep really crazy. Sparkling color and fancy pattern, they are good at that actually.

The first place I stayed is a supermarket. It was fun but not that different than the one we have in Taiwan. But they really make the market stinky coz' the put the fishes everywhere without some refrigerator or something. I hate that smell. The mango chip here is really awesome and cheap. I bought some to take and some for my friends in Taiwan. I think it's quite famous here coz' you see that shit everywhere. People are friendly here though mostly they don't speak English. It's different than the Philippines I heard. I supposed that they r good at English. But it doesn't affect me to talk to those friendly local people, body language is a global language. After the supermarket, I went to a little bar to have some drink. There are a lot of Philippine girls (beer girl?) moving toward to me. It's kinda weird so I finished that asap then leave. The last thing I have in that night is a massage. It's cheap and comfortable but the place is too hot. Manila is a hot place anyway, so, air con is indeed I guess if you need a massage. Then, go back to the hostel for the next day!!
