The West Coast

After managing to get ourselves packed on time, and witnessing Lex stack it over the curb with her back pack on, we jumped on the next bus heading for Greymouth!  This took us down the West Coast of the South Island and its spectacular rugged coastline.  We stopped in one place called Punakaiki and bumped into a guy we had met on Waiheke Island back in Auckland.

We met up with Karen as she had landed in Christchurch and got the train over to join us.  There isn't exactly a lot to see in Greymouth - especially on a Sunday, so we headed to the pub to make the most of the $5 all you can eat BBQ.
