Least we forget

Text written in: English

Dylan and I went for a we tiki tour around central Melbourne.

We started at Federation Square which is the central square in the City. We spent a while looking for an All Blacks shirt for me (cause it really has to be done!) - They were all too small or too large so will try later.

The significance of the skyscraper is that last time Dylan and I were in Melbourne (3ish years ago) we were visiting Phil. His place was about 1k from the building site and I think they were only up to level 40 of the skelleton, so Phil, this photos are for you too.

We ended up at the shrine of rememerbance - which is a memorial for all the soldiers who lost their lives in the world wars. It was very sombre and touching.

Shrine is designed so that on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of every year, a ray of light shines over the word "Love" - we however were not there on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, so we just got simulation! Moving though.
