The APOLOBAMBA Trek

Text written in: English

We got to Pelechuco, very very lonly place far from everything, at the night after 12 hours drive from La Paz.

We went to the only hostel in the town, there they told us about Fredy our guide for the trek.

We woke up in the morning and went to Fredy's house, he bring 5 donkys (mules) with him to take our staff in the trek.  after fredy and his helper (Ector) packed the mulas we went out to the trek.

This trek is an antique way of the INKA between villages (Pelechuco and Charazany), and they use this way to pass the agricultre production between this places it called Apolobamba because it is the name of part of the cordira real mountains.

The first part was very long uphill to the first pass, about 4900 meter above sea level. after that we spent 5 more days in great trek that the words cant discribe. One day we bought Ship from local people and they killed her and we eat the meat the day after. We climbe to 5100 meter above sea level for one of the passes. we saw great views. We did great KABALAT SHABAT in the middle of the trek and many more (look in the pic).

To sumerize it was great Trek, u have to go.
